Small Industry of XYZ Gamelan in Bali Province is a heritage industry. Currently, the existence of small industry of Gamelan has become serious cause of attention for the local government; this makes the gamelan industry one of the interesting tourist objects in Bali. The demand of quality of life improvement of worker is a will of allworkers, but nevertheless, some cultures, local tradition, and the value of community life are becoming constraint to changing the local character. The objective of this research is to evaluate four domain qualities of life as base of initial information of working condition improvement based on user need (participatory ergonomic). The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with accidental sampling design, that is, choosing sample based on immediacy of subject to population. A questionnaire was given to subjects based on inclusion criteria randomly. Data collection was done by parameter of quality of life questionnaire developed by WHO, that is, WHOQOL100, which contains 26 questions in total. It was a self-report questionnaire, wheresubjects are requested to respond as conditions in 4 latest weeks. Data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Result showed that the quality of life of workers in small industry on XYZ Gamelan at Bali Province on physical health domain has a score of 54, meaning good;psychological score of 44, meaning less social; relationship domain had a score of 75, meaning good; and environment domain 44, meaning less good. Since physical health and environmental domain had lowest scores, thus improvement that considering human as the main indicator is a must. Improvement could be conducted by redesigning work facility, work load adjustment, and worker performance, and evaluating worker and company productivity. In industrially developing countries (IDC), small and medium enterprises (SMEs) account for the highest proprotion of employment. Unfortunately, the working conditions in SMEs are often very poor and expose employees to a potentially wide range of health and safety risks. This paper presents a comprehensive review of 161 articles related to ergonomics application in SMEs, using Indonesia as a case study. The aim of this paper is to investigate the extent of ergonomics application and identify areas that can be improved to promote effective ergonomics for SMEs in IDC. The most urgent issue found is the need for adopting participatory approach in contrast to the commonly implemented top-down approach. Some good practices in ergonomics application were also revealed from the review, e.g. a multidisciplinary approach, unsophisticated and low-cost solutions, and recognising the importance of productivity. The review also found that more work is still required to achieve appropriate cross-cultural adaptation of ergonomics application. Practitioner Summary: Despite continuous efforts in addressing ergonomics issues in SMEs of IDC, workers are still exposed to poor work conditions. We reviewed factual-based evidence of current ergonomics application to inform future strategies of ergonomics in IDC, using Indonesia as a case study

Type of 80 meters ran is one of the numbers on athletics competed in early age of child. In early age, the physical condition and mind can still be developed continuously and systematically. The exercise in early age should be an element of play and competition, thus this exercise is attempted to develop the speed by two types of exercise: back to back relay run of 20 meters six reps four sets and back to back relay run of 30 meters four reps four sets. The aim of research is to know the increasing of 80 meters speed of run. The exercise was conducted for six weeks with a frequency of three times a week with the aim to increasing the speed. The numbered of sample was 24 people selected randomly from junior high school students of Dharma Praja Badung that meets the requirements of inclusion and exclusion. The numbered of each group consists of twelve people. Each group was given a different treatment i.e. group I was treated by back to back relay run of 20 meters six reps and four sets and group II treated by back to back relay run of 30 meters four reps four sets. Data derived from the duration time of 80 meters ran before and after exercise, with t paired test to determine the difference average speed of duration time before and after exercise in each group. The t Unpaired test for the difference average of increased speed between two groups with significance limit of 0.05. The differences of speed in 80 meters ran after exercise in both groups showed significant differences, i.e. p = 0.000 (p <0.05). The average of duration time of 80 meters ran in Group I before exercise was 13.51 sec and after exercise was 12.31 sec by difference of 1.16 seconds show significant differences, while Group 2 the average of duration time in 80 meters ran before exercise and after exercise was 13.66 and after 12, 67 by a difference of 0.98 seconds showed significant differences due to differences in distance and number of repetitions between Group I and Group II. The results showed that the training in group I and group II can improve the speed of duration time in 80 meters ran. Thus, coaches and athletic trainers are expected to implement the back to back relay run 20 meters six reps four sets

In volley ball game, the mistakes that usually conduct by athlete was inaccurate of the blocking move, therefore the hit which was conducted by the rivals always unblock. It was caused by less of good physical condition and well block technique then it was effected the jump high. The training was needed to improve the bad physical condition and block’s technique. Leg muscle explosive power is one of the important components of the physical condition which was required in sports especially in barrier’s jump. The exercise which is used in this study was exercise of barrier’s jump in 50 cm with variations of sprint 5 meters 10 repetitions 3 sets and 5 repetitions 6 sets. This training aims to compare the training which further enhances the high jump, to find out the effectiveness of barrier’s jump of 50 cm with a variation of 5 meter sprint to the increasing of jump’s high. It had been conducted the research of experimental study with randomized pre- and post- test control group design. The numbers of the samples were 28 people that were divided into two groups, the number of each group was 14 people that were chosen randomize with a simple lottery. Group 1 was given the exercise of 50 cm barrier’s jump with variation of sprint was 5 meters 10 repetitions 3 sets, and group 2 was given 50 cm barrier’s jump with the sprint’s variation was 5 meters 5 repetitions 6 sets. From the statistical test results is obtained , the average of group 1 vertikal jump’s height before training was 55.28 ± 9.46 and after training was 62.64 ± 9.70 with deference 7,07 ± 1.85 (p<0,05). The average of group 2 vertical jump’s height before training was 53.50 ± 7.02 and after training was 60.07 ± 7.16 with difference of 6.50 ± 1.95 (p<0,05. However, the increasing of vertical jump between both of group after training was not significant (p<0,05). Based on the result of the research we can concluded that both exercise have an equal effect on improvement of high vertical jump’s

The effectiveness of jump-shoot technique step jump shoot and still jump shoot in a game is still questionable, because many different assumptions arise. One opinion stated that step jump shoot was more effective and the other stated that and still jump shoot was more efective. Therefore it is necessary to do research on the analysis of the results of step jump shoot and and still jump shoot to improve the accuracy of shooting in a basketball. The experimental research had been conducted on 20samples of people whowere selected randomly from the men's basketball club of the Faculty of Physical Educationand Health of Teacher Training Institute PGRI Bali. Samples were divided into two groups each consisting of 10 people. Group I was given training step jump shoot four sets of 10 reps and Group II training still jump shoot four sets of 10 reps. The data before and after treatment were tested by SPSS computer program. The data were normally distributed and homogeneous so further tested using pairedt-test to compare the average values?? before and after training between each group, while the independent t-test was used to determine differences in mean values?? between the two groups. Paired t-test resulted the obtained data were significantly increased in both treatment groups p=0,001 in Group I and p=0,000 in Group II (p <0.05). Results of independent t-test found that both groups before training did not differ significantly p=0,926 (p>0.05) and after training both groups equally improve the accuracy of shooting because p=0,133 (p>0.05). It was concluded that botht raining improved the shooting accuracy and there was no difference between the effect of step jumps hoot and still jump shoot toward the shooting accuracy. It was suggested to improve the shooting accuracy in basketball used step jump shoot training and still jump shoot training four sets of 10 reps with a training frequency of 4 times a week for 6 weeks</p
